Protecting the Environment, Nurturing Safety & Health

Our commitment to ESG is a pledge to conduct all our operations with the utmost respect for environmental preservation, the well-being of our employees, and the safety of our community. We uphold this commitment through the following principles:

  • Compliance and Beyond: We go above and beyond to ensure compliance with applicable Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) laws and regulations. But our commitment doesn't stop there. We continually seek ways to exceed regulatory standards and set new benchmarks for SHE excellence.
  • Awareness and Training: We understand that knowledge is power. We empower our employees with extensive SHE training and effective communication. By fostering a culture of awareness, we ensure that every member of our team is a guardian of safety, health, and the environment.

Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD): Leading the Way

In 2020, we achieved a significant milestone by becoming a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) manufacturing facility. This means that 100% of our effluent is treated and recycled, leaving no liquid waste behind. Our advanced treatment process includes a comprehensive Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Effluent Treatment Plant, complemented by a state-of-the-art Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE), Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) installation and a Reverse Osmosis Plant.

Environmental Consent and Responsible Waste Management

Our dedication to ESG practices extends to obtaining valid consent from the State Pollution Control Board and securing Environmental Clearance from the Government of India. These approvals enable us to manufacture 2,160 MT of chemicals per annum responsibly and sustainably.
We are proud to be registered with a recognized Solid Waste Management Agency endorsed by the State Pollution Control Board. All our solid waste materials are diligently managed through incineration or proper land filling, adhering to the highest environmental standards.

Environmental Landmarks Achieved:

Our journey toward excellence in ESG practices has been marked by several significant achievements, including:

  • Certification: We have earned the ISO 14001:2004 certificate from SGS, reflecting our unwavering commitment to environmental management.
  • Advanced Effluent Treatment: We have installed on-site effluent plants for primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment, ensuring the responsible disposal of industrial effluents.
  • Cutting-Edge Technology: Our investment in a 3-stage Multi-Effect Evaporator (MEE), Bio Reactor, and Reverse Osmosis technology showcases our dedication to sustainable manufacturing.
  • Waste Management: We are proud members of the Mumbai Waste Management Agency, playing our part in the responsible disposal of solid and hazardous waste.
  • Expansion with Care: We have secured Environmental Clearance (EC) for expanding our manufacturing capacity from 1260 to 2160 MT annually, ensuring that growth aligns with environmental responsibility.
  • Product Portfolio Expansion: Our commitment to environmental sustainability is exemplified by obtaining consent from the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) to double our product offerings from 11 to 23.
